For EFS Consulting, a leading strategy and innovation consultancy based in Vienna, we were commissioned to create a bespoke audio identity that reflects their core values—sophistication, openness, and future-forward thinking.

The Process

The process began with deep listening: understanding EFS’s vision, their desire for something both classy and modern—rooted in acoustic traditions while embracing contemporary elements. They expressed a particular interest in a blend of classical music with a present-day touch.

We shared a curated selection of past works and sonic sketches to initiate the dialogue. Shortly after, we were invited to EFS’s Open House, which offered valuable insights into their corporate culture, team dynamics, and the spirit that drives their projects. This immersive experience helped us align our sonic approach with their brand identity and their guiding principle: “Real People. Real Business.”

From there, we developed several concepts, presenting them to a group of team members and engaging in a collaborative feedback process. Through multiple iterations, we refined the sound into something truly unique.

The final concept centered around a violin-based audio logo, symbolizing the warmth and craftsmanship of acoustic sound. This was paired with a low-end bass synth—a nod to modernity and forward movement. To express the collective and structured nature of their work, we used Euclidean rhythms in the form of hand claps, evoking a sense of community and innovation. Additional layered strings brought richness and continuity.

The resulting soundscape is both in motion and grounded, echoing EFS’s dual commitment to tradition and transformation. It feels open, resonant with history, yet unmistakably oriented towards the future—a sonic reflection of real people shaping real business.
