Installed within the winding staircase of das weisse haus, Those Wild Whispers invites listeners into an immersive journey of healing — not as a sudden revelation, but as a gradual, spiraling ascent. Like climbing a hill that shifts underfoot, the path is nonlinear: progress is felt in waves, pulled between moments of clarity and confusion, softness and rupture, forward motion and hesitant retreat.

Descending the staircase, elongated percussion pulses emerge — delicate micro-timed vibrations that move from left to right, suggesting the sensation of drifting into a subconscious space. Their slow, irregular rhythm traces the contours of friction and emotional resistance, giving shape to the uneven texture of inner struggle.

A stretched synthesizer, rich in overtones, anchors the installation in deeper frequencies before steadily ascending. Its harmonies unfold and transform, evoking a rising emotional arc — from constriction to catharsis, from tension to release. As it gains momentum, it grows brighter and more spacious, like light gradually seeping into a long-darkened room.

Threading between these elements, a continuously shifting noise loop breathes and evolves, echoing the impermanence of sensation. It weaves itself into the fabric of the composition, then slowly unravels, leaving only a trace — a sonic scar.

In this work, healing is not portrayed as erasure, but as transfiguration. The sound becomes a scar: visible, audible, tactile — a reminder not only of what was endured, but of the strength that emerged through it. Those Wild Whispers offers no easy resolution, only the invitation to feel, to listen, and to keep ascending.
